Information Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

As Demiralp Customs Consultancy, within the scope of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we value the security of the personal data of our clients, job applicants, suppliers and visitors, and we show the utmost care in processing and protecting this data.

1. Data Controller

Under the KVKK, your personal data is processed by Demiralp Customs Consultancy in its capacity as data controller.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data is processed for the purposes of;

• carrying out customs consultancy services,
• fulfilling legal obligations,
• managing contractual processes and commercial relations,
• responding to customer requests, information and communication activities,
• managing human resources and recruitment processes,

in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Within the framework of the relevant legislation and for the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred to;

• public institutions and organizations,
• authorized authorities,
• our business partners and suppliers.

4. Method of Collection and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically or physically through our website, contact forms, contracts, email, telephone and similar channels; and is processed on legal grounds such as the establishment and performance of a contract, the fulfilment of legal obligations and the protection of our legitimate interests.

5. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject you have the right to;

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information if it has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
• object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems,
• request compensation for damages in case of loss.
